Annie Greenabelle on eettinen naisten vaatemerkki.
Kaikki Annie Greenabellen vaatteet on suunniteltu Englannissa.

About us
Annie Greenabelle is an ethical womens clothing brand. Our garments are predominantly made of organic and Fairtrade certified cotton. We combine this with the use of reclaimed and end-of-roll fabrics which adds variety and means many items are unique.
Here at Annie Greenabelle we don't believe that anyone or anything should be treated badly in the pursuit of a 'bargain' piece of clothing, that is why all our factories comply with the ETI (Ethical Trading Initiative) base code.
We believe that this is the way all clothing companies should be run. We aim to prove that ethical clothing can be beautiful, on-trend and affordable.
From Seed To Store – The Annie Greenabelle Journey
*
Design
All Annie Greenabelle garments are designed in-house.

Grow
Our Organic, Fairtrade cotton is bought through a company who from their 12 rural centres across India, coordinate organic fibre cultivation with a selected group of local farmers. A team of agronomists is based at each service centre who monitor growing to international organic standards. The farmers receive a fair price for their cotton.
*
Process
The cotton is then taken by road to the spinners to be spun into yarn and from there to the weavers to be woven. Finally the fabric is dyed and finished and transported by boat to Europe to be made into garments in our factory.
*
FLO Registration (Fairtrade Labelling Organisation)
Each of these individual processes is FLO registered. To gain this status each of these suppliers has to have an independent audit which is then submitted to FLO for approval.
If approval is granted they are then given a FLO identification number.
This number in turn has to be given to the Fairtrade Foundation in the UK.

Fairtrade Brand
For us to legitimately brand a garment with the recognisable Fairtrade logo, the Fairtrade Foundation need to know exactly which factories have processed each and every individual garment at each and every individual stage.
We therefore, have to provide them with the FLO identification numbers of the factories involved so that they can trace and check the process.
When they are satisfied with this process they grant us approval to use the logo on that particular piece of clothing.
This means that our supply chain is completely transparent.
